| Leslei Harper, Franchise Owner - St Louis County, MO Leslei is an early childhood special education teacher for Rockwood School District. Leslei earned her Bachelors Degree in  Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1991. Her study focus was working with abused and neglected children. She did her practicum at The Rainbow House, a residential home for abused children. She has worked in various social service settings. In 1995, Leslei received her teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education, wanting to take a more proactive approach to helping children. She taught for six years at Brennan Woods Elementary in Jefferson County . In her tenure at Brennan Woods, she taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grades. She also provided 3 years of inclusive education for special needs students to mainstream into her first and second grade classrooms. Leslei has received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. She is dually certified to teach regular and special education. In her personal life, Leslei is the proud aunt of Devin, and tremendously enjoys time spent with her nephew. Her hobbies include weight training, kickboxing, and volleyball. Leslei plans to volunteer her time to her community through the Junior League of Saint Louis. She is very excited to be part of this outstanding network of franchises. |
