Melinda Izzo, Franchise Owner - Chester & Berks Counties, Pennsylvania

Melinda lives in Spring City, PA with her husband Bill and her 4 year old son, Andrew.  With a degree in counseling from Geneva College and a background in the children's mental health field, she saw running her own franchise as an opportunity to do something valuable for the community while having the flexibility of working at home and spending time with her son.

At the age of 4, Andrew is already a history buff so they spend time as a family visiting museums and historical places.  Melinda and Andrew also volunteer together at a local nursing home.  Melinda wants Andrew to appreciate the value of "old friends," and giving of himself.

Melinda enjoys walking, hiking, cross-stitch, reading books that don't necessarily rhyme and going to restaurants that don't have chicken nuggets on the menu.
