She has chosen to come back to her home state to raise her son, Leighton, in the Dallas, Texas area because she likes the big city feel mixed with a small-town atmosphere, friendly people and good schools . Oleta's extensive travel was due to her husband's job in the military. She has an education in International Relations and has pursued MA studies in Russian Language / Linguistics. Since she had her son Leighton she has found a new goal: to be involved in things that help serve the best interest of children.
