Cheryl Best, Vice President and Secretary

Cheryl and MadisonCheryl began her interest in childcare after the birth of her daughter, now age four. As a single working mother, Cheryl is keenly aware of the challenges of balancing work and family.  

Cheryl brings her various artistic talents to our company.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication arts and design/media arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 1989.  

She worked for several years as a free-lance video and film production technician on varies corporate, commercial and broadcast  projects including the Emmy winning television mini-series The Murder of Mary Phagan and the 1995 Sundance film festival award winner, Lillian.  Her free-lance work led to a position as Director of Audio-Visuals at the Adams Mark Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.  

Cheryl shifted gears and began working as a customer service specialist at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA, as well as expanding her free-lance work to include graphic design, desktop publishing, and web design.  

Cheryl also enjoys pottery, decorative painting and murals, and, of course, spending time with her daughter.  To see some of Cheryl's artwork, click here.
