1. What makes you different than a nanny agency?
We are a full service childcare network offering services for parents in need of any type of child care situation including Daycares, before/after school care, sitters, family day care, and emergency care. We will not be matching you with one particular provider nor do we get involved in negotiations. We simply offer you the tools necessary to choose the right person for your needs.

2. Where do you find your providers?
Word of mouth, local advertising, and college campuses.

3. How do you screen your caregivers?
Each applicant is personally interviewed and facilities are inspected on site and references, reference letters, credentials and certifications are collected. Providers are also required to submit to us basic clearances (a SSN trace and County Criminal check).

4. What do I get for my money?
Personalized service and a full report on every provider in or around your area who meets our standards and your criteria and you will receive new possibilities automatically approximately once a week for the duration of their service contract (2 months).

5. What should I pay my nanny?
The fee the provider prefers is listed in their information. The going rate for full-time live-out nannies (40-50 hrs.) ranges from $350.00 to $450.00 weekly depending on experience, amount of children, ages of children length of a work day, amount of other responsibilities. Less experienced may go as low as $250.00, more experienced may want as much as $600.00. An hourly rate can range anywhere from $8/hr to $12/hr.

6. Do I need to offer paid vacation?
That's up to you. Many employers do offer one to two weeks paid. Some families will ask their caregiver to take the same week of vacation that they do. Keep in mind offering incentives to your caregiver will increase the likelihood that they will stay in your employment for a longer period of time.

7. What criteria do you use to match caregivers to my needs?
Unfortunately, Our database runs the query to assign possible matches according to proximity, whether they're full-time or part-time or occasional sitters, approximate age range, and whether or not they drive and smoke.

8. What happens if I need a NANSI and a Nanny? Do I need to pay for both services?
Not necessarily. You've purchased the information on the providers being sent. Use them for NANSI's and Nanny's if you can. If none of them wish to be NANSI's then, yes, you will need to specifically order that service separately.

9. I need a temporary sitter until the nanny I've hired can start. Do I need to pay for an emergency provider too?
Yes.

10. I have never used a Nanny before is there additional information you can give me?
Every new client receives our Parent Packet that includes information on taxes, questions to ask references and questions to ask caregivers during interviews. If you do not receive a packet for some reason be sure to ask for it!
